Schema markup and rich results checker

Stars, price, availability, FAQs and breadcrumbs in results come from markup. The check shows which types you have and which required fields are missing.

What a rich result is

A search result with extra details: rating, price, questions or a logo. Google builds it from schema.org JSON-LD, but only when required fields are filled. A product needs a name and offers with price and currency, an article needs headline, image and datePublished.

Frequently asked questions

I have markup but no stars. Why?

A required field is missing or Google chose not to show the snippet for that query. Fill in the fields the report names first.

What markup should a shop use?

Product with offers on product pages, Organization with a logo on the home page and BreadcrumbList across the catalogue.

How do I verify a fix?

Open the page in Google’s Rich Results Test and run this check again.
