Website blacklist check

Find out whether Google flags the site as dangerous and whether the domain is on a spam list. That is why Chrome shows a red screen and emails land in spam.

How to tell a site is blacklisted

A site on Google Safe Browsing opens in Chrome, Firefox and Safari behind a red warning. A domain on Spamhaus or SURBL loses email: filters block its messages. We look the address up in these lists and scan pages for hidden casino and loan links that attackers leave behind.

Frequently asked questions

Why did the site get blacklisted?

Most often after a hack: malicious code, a phishing page or spam links were planted. Less often because of email sent without consent.

How do I get off Google’s list?

Remove the malicious code, change passwords and update the CMS, then open Security issues in Google Search Console and press Request review. Google usually clears the flag within days.

How do I get off Spamhaus?

Open check.spamhaus.org, enter the domain, read the reason and request removal. Fix the cause first or the domain will be listed again.
