Questions and answers

What does the number on the badge mean?

It is the overall score from the latest finished report for your site, from 0 to 100. The higher it is, the fewer violations and errors the check found.

Does the badge update?

Yes. The score comes from the latest report and refreshes every ten minutes. Fix issues and re-check the site, and the badge shows the new number with no code changes.

What does a visitor see after clicking the badge?

Your latest Awe Check report opens. So add the badge once you are happy with the result: fix the main findings and check the site again.

What if the site has never been checked?

The badge shows a dash instead of a number. Run a check first, then paste the code.

Where do I paste the code?

In the site footer or an About block. In site builders (Tilda, WordPress, Wix) use an HTML code block or a custom code widget.

Is it paid?

No, the badge is free.
